Moving forward, and as part of the Group’s expansion plan, in 2008 Tambun Indah Group has commenced development in Pearl City on the freehold land strategically located at the Southern District of mainland Penang with proximity to key landmarks, and has excellent connectivity to major towns. Currently, Palmington Sdn Bhd and Tambun Indah Development Sdn Bhd, the subsidiary companies of Tambun Indah Group, are responsible for the development projects.

Pearl City’s centralised and strategic location at Simpang Ampat also gives it the added advantage of excellent connectivity to the North-South Highway, Penang Bridge and Electrified Double Track Railway. The completion of the upgrading and widening works at the old federal road will improve connectivity from the township to the locales in Bukit Mertajam.
To create a healthier and wholesome living environment for Pearl City residents, an expansive 4,284 sq. meters linear park complete with jogging track has been set aside for the enjoyment and relaxation of the residents, while the construction and completion of the new hawker centre of 15,186 sq. meters comprising a futsal court and multi-purpose hall will also greatly benefit the residents.
The township is also within close proximity to the iconic premier fashion outlet mall at the Design Village, the proposed KDU University College and famous seafood restaurants in Batu Kawan. Also in the vicinity of Valdor, South Seberang Perai, and the new SMJK Jit Sin (Cawangan SPS)

The mall features leisure activities and provides a full range of products, food and beverage options and services for the convenience of existing and future residents of Pearl City. Future developments of the business park include a proposed sports complex, proposed medical centre and, more F&B outlets in Pearl City Mall Phase 2.
In year 2015, Tambun Indah Group launched the 2nd phase of their gated residential project, RAINTREE PARK 2 and unveiled its first highrise development project namely AVENUE GARDEN which features 2-rooms and 3-rooms serviced apartments within the commercial hub of Pearl City.
